Actor Jerome Ponce made the rounds on social media after netizens slammed him for allegedly being ungrateful to a Streamer who helped him during his car accident last Friday, January 21.
There have been reports that surfaced online particularly on the social networking site Facebook that Jerome Ponce got into a car accident along Timog Avenue, Quezon City.
One netizen posted about the said accident on Facebook with attached photos of a car claiming that it was Ponce’s and that the actor got into an accident because he was intoxicated.
The Facebook post was then bombarded by netizens who claimed that the accident was the one that a popular streamer known as Ghost Wrecker was referring to.
According to the netizens, Ghost Wrecker helped someone who got into a car accident along Timog Avenue. However, the streamer mentioned that the person he helped didn’t even thank him.
Ghost Wrecker, whose real name is Elyson Caranza, is a Filipino streamer and a content creator who rose to fame through the top-rating online game, Mobile Legends.
Netizens slammed Jerome Ponce in the comment section and said that the actor doesn’t know how to show gratitude. They said that the actor was even arrogant towards Ghost Wrecker.

As of this writing, Jerome Ponce still hasn’t released a statement on the issue.
Jerome Ponce is an actor under ABS-CBN’s talent management arm, Star Magic. He came to prominence after being a part of the hit daytime series ‘Be Careful With My Heart as Luke Andrew Lim and Lorenzo ‘Enzo’ Buenavidez in the Prime Time Series ‘The Good Son.’
