Following its three-week recap, GMA Network’s well-loved and top-rating family drama series ‘Love of My Life’ finally airs its much-awaited fresh episodes beginning Monday (January 18) on the primetime block.
Prior to the suspension of tapings due to the pandemic, viewers were on the edge of their seats with the riveting and heart-tugging plot twists in the family drama.
Constantly pestered by her estranged father for money, Kelly (Rhian Ramos) confides with Nikolai (Mikael Daez) who, on one hand, struggles to prove that he is a changed man to his stern mother Isabella (Coney Reyes). Meanwhile, Adelle (Carla Abellana) continues to cope with her high-risk first cycle of pregnancy on her own after the passing of her husband Stefano (Tom Rodriguez).
With the continuation of the original series, the cast members expressed what they feel about their highly-anticipated brand-new episodes, experiences during their lock-in taping, and what’s in store for the Kapuso viewers as the story continues.
Carla is elated for viewers to witness the continuation of the story and drops hints on what to expect in the coming episodes, “Excited na excited na! Alam namin na nabitin sila noon kaya ngayon mapapanood na nila kung paano unti-unting bumangon at nagpatuloy sa buhay ang lahat ng mahal ni Stefano pagkatapos ng pagkamatay niya. Magkasundo na kaya silang lahat? Expect more secrets, revelations, relationships, arguments, beautiful scenery and lots of crying.”
Mikael is likewise thrilled and hopes for the continuous support from their fans, “Sobrang excited kami dahil binuhos namin ng buong team ang lahat ng energy and creativity namin para dito sa bagong episodes kaya sana ma-enjoy ng ating mga Kapuso. Interesting din kung paano magbabago ang buhay ng aming characters matapos ang pagkamatay ni Stefano.”
On the one hand, Rhian feels honored to have worked with her talented co-stars and production team, “It’s amazing what we were able to achieve despite all challenges. Ipinagmamalaki kong makasama sa isang palabas na gawa ninyo, thank you for having me in your team.”
Coney, in turn, reveals her fondest memories during their lock-in taping and what she will miss the most about the series, “I miss the camaraderie we had on the set and the unselfish sharing of food, makeup tips, kwentos, and the laughter. Kakaiba ang bonding naming lahat dito sa show na ito lalo na dahil sa pag-iingat namin at pag-aalala para sa bawat isa. Of course, I will also miss playing the role of the strong-willed but loving, caring, generous Isabella Gonzales.”
Don’t miss the highly-anticipated all-new episodes of ‘Love of My Life – under the helm of esteemed director Don Michael Perez – beginning January 18, weeknights, only on GMA Network.
