Recently, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) deputy executive director Mocha Uson figured in a rumor to be pregnant with actor Robin Padilla.
Now, the story did not end there since actor Dingdong Dantes, husband of Marian Rivera is now linked to the Padilla-Uson issue.
As a diversion to the controversy between Uson and Padilla, the DDS-related accounts have claimed that Dantes impregnated Lindsay de Vera, his co-star in the defunct TV series Alyas Robinhood.
On January 22, the actor trended on Twitter over a claim spread by Andrew Olivar.
The now-deleted post is about a blind item that speaks of a guy nicknamed “doorbell” who impregnated a woman.
Netizens speculated that the person being referred to was none other than Dingdong.
The showbiz website pep.ph then clarified that their blind item was not Dantes. Nevertheless, Olivar, a friend of Uson and a DDS, was already leading the attack on Dantes.
"a friend of M", MOCHA, who is allegedly in a blind item of PEP (w/ Robin)
Now u know how they manipulated Dingdong on the issues, to divert the attention. Nagpapaloko naman kayo.
That Lindsay is a co-actor of him in Alyas Robin Hood, which aired in 2017.

The actor did not comment on the issue but his wife did. On her Instagram account, Marian Rivera posted on her IG story a photo from her role in Encantadia with the caption “pashnea”. The term in Encantadia language means “animal!” and is a slang that expresses anger or contempt.
Netizens reacted to the actress’s IG story which is directed to the ones spreading rumors regarding her husband being linked to De Vera.
@dongdantes_, a stan account for Rivera’s husband reacted to how Rivera channeled her inner Encantadia character in order to indirectly retaliate with the fake news about her husband.
Marian Rivera channeling her inner Ynang Reyna Minea. She's not the mother of four sangres for nothing! Mga Pashnea! HAHAHA pic.twitter.com/tYvADt6EJB

@PinaysInShowbiz seemed to be disappointed with how some fans were reacting to the issue.
Last thought abt that ridiculous FAKE news(maybe 😅) I expected the usual haters reaction. What made me sad is that a few fans to this day said, “sana hindi si DD…” You’re not protecting or defending Marian with that. 🙄 You’re insulting her. If you truly know her, you’d know. pic.twitter.com/79pKMt97hA

Another netizen, @Rosor02 applauded the subtlety of Rivera by taking the issue on Encantadia-style.
Hail to the Hara, Marian Rivera Dantes! https://t.co/JcWd7WHPWg

Meanwhile, another netizen wanted Rivera to speak up about the issue.
Marian Rivera should speak up about the issue like pronto! like what Mariel did, cleaning Robin's name about the Mocha-Robin accusation, or else this will be another Janela Salvador or Julia Montes chismis….. which turrned to be real pala sa huli, dba Dingdong Dantes?

Marian and Dingdong met on the set of GMA’s adaptation of the Mexican telenovela Marimar in 2007.
In June 2009, they once again teamed up for the TV series Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang which made them closer to each other. That same year, during Marian’s 25th birthday, Netizens spotted the two holding each other’s hands.
In 2010, they revealed their relationship to the public. In December 2014, after five years of being together, the two tied the knot at Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral in Quezon City.
Fast forward to the present, the two now have a pair of adorable kids Zia and Sixto.
