Former Duterte supporter Jason Abalos raised the question of whether who has more power, the government or the people.
On his Twitter account, Abalos wondered how the citizens of the Philippines couldn’t do anything but wait until the next election to be able to do something.
With the government receiving criticism after criticism, and with the incident involving smuggled SINOVAC vaccine, the former DDS seemed like he couldn’t take it anymore.
Question, Bakit wala tayo magawa sa gobyerno natin. Ang alam ko mamamayan ang mas may kapangyarihan eh.. ano ba dapat gawin? Sa mga nakakaalam ng batas. Hintay na kang ba ng eleksyon?

On Twitter, Abalos shared his frustration and disappointment on how the administration emphasized “we heal as one” yet the military was the first to be given the vaccine. With this disappointing news, the actor could only hope that there is no scary side effects from the vaccine.
“We heal as one” pero sila muna tapos bahala na tayo sa buhay natin 🙂 galing, Wala sana side effect na hindi maganda yong vaccine .. palakasin nyo na lang immune system nyo kaya natin maka survive sa virus. Simula una pa lang naman ganito na ang plano

He even retweeted Dr. Tony Leachon’s tweet regarding his concern towards the unregistered SINOVAC. Dr. Leachon was concerned about the outcome of the illegal vaccines and its use by the government.
Unregistered use of drugs or compounds like vaccines with FDA is prohibited. FDA is the regulatory body responsible for ensuring efficacy and safety of products. I suggest that a thorough review of the law be conducted so it will not sabotage the national vaccine plan. https://t.co/zidZNTUqpY pic.twitter.com/a5ZjW3fRw6

His Twitter account has been full of criticism towards the government. He even created a poll asking netizens who would like to be vaccinated using China’s vaccine.
Papaturok ka ba ng vaccine galing china?

The failures of the government have indeed opened the eyes of many Filipinos who previously supported this administration. Jason is the first of the many who have been enlightened.
