Kapamilya star Anne Curtis answered a question about her stint as an It’s Showtime host.
The 35-year-old actress was a host for the noontime show for about 10 years before she decided to take a maternity break in December 2019.
On Friday, January 22, when Anne was asked if she no plans to return to her It’s Showtime family, the actress answered that she will never leave the show.
She said that she will stick by the show until it will air its last episode. However, Anne noted that she will focus first on her firstborn daughter, Dahlia.
Good Morning! As I told my Showtime family during a private conversation. I will never leave It’s Showtime. Been with them since day 1 and will be them until the day comes that the show has to say goodbye. But for now, mummy duties lang ako. 🥰 https://t.co/NG2soMeoNx

Anne Curtis is one of the original members of It’s Showtime since the show began in 2009. It has been over a year since the actress left the show to go on maternity leave, 6 months into her pregnancy.
She married chef and vlogger Erwan Heussaff and gave birth to her first child Dahlia Amélie on March 2, 2020. The name “Dahlia” was taken from the name of Anne’s character in her 1997 debut movie, Magic Kingdom.
According to an article by ABS-CBN, Anne mentioned that she plans to resume her film and TV career once her daughter turns 1. However, with the threat brought by COVID-19 along with the shutdown of the ABS-CBN network, the actress still hasn’t made her TV return.
She is currently based in Melbourne, Australia where she and her husband stayed since the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
