Flint, the first Philippine real estate crowdfunding platform, celebrates its first anniversary. The platform is powered by SeedIn and is the only one of its kind that offers both local and global investors the chance to invest in Philippine real estate.
The information about the available properties in Flint is powered by Signet Properties, a leading tech-focused real estate property listing site in the Philippines.
Andre Mercado, founder and CEO of both companies, was inspired to develop Flint when he saw the struggles many overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) had when trying to invest in or sell land in the Philippines. He saw that not only were the available options incredibly difficult to get into, but they were also challenging to understand. He developed Flint as an easy, simple, and secure way for anyone to buy or sell real estate in the Philippines. Further, because Flint is a crowdfunding platform, the properties listed on Flint are generally more affordable and better-priced.
To date, Flint has had 73M pesos’ worth of total projects, 4,200 total investors, and 13 total projects funded. They have also established a strong partnership with Vi Group of Companies. Together, both companies hope to encourage more people to be more financially stable, especially during these times.
Flint sees itself expanding even more the coming year, with the launching of its mobile app and showcasing at least 300M pesos worth of projects.
