Actress Cherry Pie Picache gave a calm reply to a Netizen, who called her a ‘cougar’ after posting a picture with a young man who turned out to be her son.
‘Cougar’ is a term used to describe an older woman who prefers or seeks a relationship or sex with significantly younger men.
On Wednesday, January 6, Picache posted on her Instagram account with beach getaway photographs. She’s spotted with a man who is significantly younger than her. The young man is the actress’s handsome son, Nio.
“Love building memories with this man @niotria ,” she wrote on Instagram.

The photographs showed the two casually sharing a meal and even showed them enjoying their time together at the beach with their swimwear.
One Netizen had a wrong idea about Picache and her son. The comment referred to the actress as a ‘cougar’ and sarcastically wished her well–to enjoy her life.
“You “cougar” you! Good for you. Enjoy life to the fullest,” the Netizen wrote.
Rather than getting offended, the actress calmly responded to a Netizen who labeled her as a cougar; and explained that the young man was not her lover but her son.
“He is my son and the only man in my life” the actress explained.
The netizen realized that he made a wrong judgment and immediately asked Cherry Pie for forgiveness saying, “I am very sorry for my wrong interpretation. Sorry again. May God continue to bless you both with endless love and togetherness.”
“I have been your fan forever due to your beauty and spirituality,” the netizen added.
Cherry Pie is known to be openly affectionate towards her son Nio. She previously congratulated her son for graduating from junior high school at the Ateneo de Manila University with flying colors in 2018.
“Congratulations my son on graduating AJHS. It was no easy feat and you succeeded through your commitment, passion and hard work. You are a blessing my love,” she wrote on Instagram.
