Unique producer and artist Trafton drops genre-spanning and epic new track “Black Water”. Released December 4th, it is sure to be filling headphones globally.
Co-produced with Luke Davis, “Black Water” is a reverb-soaked synth masterpiece, with pounding percussive hits, light piano and ghostly chimes. As haunting as they are beautiful, Trafton’s evocative vocals float in the haze.
“Black Water is about conflicting images of the self and the fear of one’s own deepest desires…, reaching a tension so high that everything stops,” explains Trafton. “To me it feels like the eye of a great storm…, a surreal moment of profound rarity and significance that I tried to bring to life through the production.”
Hailing from New England, Trafton is a self-taught producer who’s already released multiple interesting and successful tracks, including a debut EP “Ice Boy” which garnered 1.09M Spotify streams. And with many more songs to come, Trafton is set to continue his success into 2021 with the release of “Black Water”.
“Black Water” is set for release December 4th.
