This was after the old training video of the actress resurfaced online.
On November 29, the actress wowed the netizens when a clip of her training montage for her former project, Darna circulated online.
The said clip was posted by her trainer mixed martial arts fighter Erwin Tagle who is part of the stunt team who trained Liza before.
Liza’s skillfulness in handling chako while executing Muay Thai moves and doing action scenes was exhibited in the video posted.
The video was taken during the actress’s preparation for her supposed role as the heroine Darna. Unfortunately, she had to back out of the project because of an injured finger.
Many viewers, especially her fans, still hope that the role will be played by Liza, as they can see her as the epitome of Darna.
However, this seems to be impossible already because, on November 26, ABS-CBN confirmed that Jane de Leon will officially take over Liza’s vacated role and the said project will finally kick-off.
