Megastar Sharon Cuneta shared that she almost had once in a lifetime fangirling experience.
On Instagram, the Megastar posted a photo of Hollywood star Keanu Reeves sharing that she participated in bidding that would give her the chance to meet Reeves.
She went up to almost 70,000 US Dollars (roughly P3.5 million) for charity but the singer lost by only 100 US Dollars.
“I have a confession. Did you ever hear about that bidding for a few minutes live with Keanu over Zoom for a children’s hospital charity? I made a bid. I lost by $100. Natulog lang ako, paggising ko iba na nanalo. And my bid reached $70K – for sick children naman na charity kasi.”
But a glimmer of hope was given to the singer; apparently, an email was sent to her confirming that she was the winner, but unfortunately, Sharon wasn’t able to check her email.
“Then for days I didn’t check my e-mail. When I did, there was one from the organizers pala saying that the winner couldn’t pay, after all! And if I still wanted to bid and get it! Waaaaaaaaaahhhh!”

The actress then accepted that the chance to meet one of her idols slipped away. She jokingly then said that maybe Lord doesn’t want her to meet John Wick (one of Keanu’s most popular roles) because she may lose the values that she learned.
“I missed it because I didn’t open my dang e-mail! Oh well…Lord, sana may ganon pa po uli. Pero isip ko ayaw ni Lord makilala ko sya. Kasi baka makalimutan ko lahat ng kabutihang turo ng mga magulang ko at ng Bible sa kin. Juskopo.”

This wasn’t the first time Sharon showed her fangirling side to others. She recently expressed how proud she is to be a Shawol or a SHINee fan, even though she is well aware that her age is far from the normal age group of other SHINee fans.
Megastar Sharon Cuneta has always been a huge fan of K Pop and K Drama. She even has a K-Pop, and K-Drama memorabilia set that would certainly make any Korean showbiz fan green with envy.
