More and more actors and performers, including those who are coming from other networks, are signing up with GMA Network’s talent management arm GMA Artist Center.
Pambansang Abs Jak Roberto will remain a Kapuso as he renewed his contract with GMA Artist Center last December 11.
Roberto who is now one of the biggest Kapuso hunks is very grateful to the GMA Network for giving him the breakthrough of his career. He is now on his sixth year as a Kapuso artist.
GMA Artist Center also welcomed their newest artist Royce Cabrera as he also inked his contract with GMA Artist Center. Cabrera started as an indie actor and later on made appearances in GMA shows.
When ABS-CBN was not granted a new franchise, it forced the said network to lay-off some of its talents, some of whom moved to GMA Network.
Former PBB housemate Luis Hontiveros left Star Magic in July to enter GMA Artist Center.
Actor and singer Khalil Ramos join his girlfriend Gabbi Garcia as a GMA artist as he also transferred from ABS-CBN to GMA in October.
And on Monday, Richard Yap officially became a Kapuso, as he also signed his contract with GMA Artist Center.
Yap was rumored to join GMA Network together with Derek Ramsay and Xian Lim in 2018. He rose to fame after starring in ‘Be Careful with My Heart’ as Sir Chief. He recently starred as Leonardo in the extended story of ‘Kadenang Ginto.’
Richard Yap will add up to GMA Networks’ roster of Kapuso actors and performers.
