Nancy McDonie of the famous member of K-Pop group Momoland has a Filipina best friend, namely actress Charlie Dizon.
The Korean singer supports Charlie with whatever she’s doing.
In a recent Instagram story, Nancy showed her love for Charlie by promoting her movies Fan Girl and Four Sisters Before The Wedding.
The movie “Fan Girl” is one of the official entries for the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival. The movie also first premiered at Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) in Japan which made quite a stir.
Fan Girl is about Jane (Charlie Dizon), a very eager, somewhat obsessed fan, who followed her idol (Paulino Avelino) to his home only to discover a horrifying truth.
Recently, the Filipina actress shocked her followers when she made Nancy \appear in her live video chat on Instagram. Nancy told the Filipina actress, who was also part of the cast of “A Soldier’s Heart, “I miss you so much” showing that they have known each other for a long time.

The two actually met way back when they were still young. Nancy revealed that by saying they met when she was 11 years old.
Charlie Dizon was also an aspiring K-Pop star that she even trained in South Korea where she and Nancy trained under the same entertainment agency. She trained for 7 years but unfortunately, Charlie had trouble with her paperwork and visa that she couldn’t stay longer. However, it did not stop her from pursuing her dream of becoming an artist as she is now a prominent actress under ABS-CBN
