With the recent win of Arjo Atayde at the Asian Academy Creative Awards, his girlfriend Maine Mendoza couldn’t hide her excitement.
On her Twitter account, Maine congratulated her boyfriend who just won Best Actor. Cheers were heard as Arjo’s name was called as this year’s Best Actor in the Leading Role Category.

This couple has been supportive of each other’s achievement as these two can be seen posting on their social media accounts congratulating each other whenever they reach certain milestones.
Recently, Maine won Comedy Actress of the Year in the 51st Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation Box-Office Entertainment Awards and Arjo congratulated her on his Instagram account story.
He wrote on his IG story, “Congratulations Bubs! Always proud of you @mainedcm.”
Maine on the other hand congratulated her boyfriend as he win Best Actor in a Leading Role category in the 2020 Asian Academy Creative Awards. She also said that she had no doubt that Arjo would win since she knows his incredible skills as an actor.
Ria Atayde, sister of Arjo, also congratulated him as she tweeted a picture of her brother giving a speech for the awarding ceremony.

Arjo, who just won Best Actor in a lead role at the 2020 Asian Academy Creative Awards gave an acceptance speech via livestream from Singapore.
In his speech, the actor who was overcome with emotions admitted that he was surprised that he had the opportunity to win such an award. He also thanked the directors and the writers of Bagman which earned him the honor of becoming best actor.
“I’m caught off guard by this, first of all I want to thank ABS-CBN, Dreamscape Entertainment, Rein Entertainment for giving me this opportunity. To my directors, writers, to Hugo Praico, thank you so much. I rode your imagination, you brought me here,” he said.
The actor bagged the award through his role in iWant series Bagman and bested 9 other actors from different Asian countries. Atayde was against Luo Jin (China), Anthony Wong (Hong Kong), Manoj Bajpayee (India), Miller Khan (Indonesia), Bront Palare (Malaysia), Kha Ra (Myanmar), Zhang Yao Dong (Singapore), Ching-Ting Hsia (Taiwan), and Prin Suparat (Thailand).
The Asian Academy Creative Awards is a prestigious event which honors excellence in craft and technical disciplines across multiple platforms including television, digital, mobile, streaming, and any other emerging technologies.
