KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, 2 DECEMBER 2020 – This Christmas, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur plays host to the dazzling display of the Dior Holiday Tree, first of its kind in Asia and exclusive in Southeast Asia.

The tree is part of the malls’ Christmas 2020 celebration, where shoppers enjoy magical moments brought to life with the theme, ‘Golden Christmas Memories’. Inspired by unforgettable Christmas and holiday experiences that shoppers have enjoyed at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur throughout the years, the decor promises to spread positivity as family and friends discover new photo opportunities at every turn.

An annual and much-awaited display at Dior’s Saint-Honoré boutique in Paris, the luxury brand’s opulent interpretation of a Holiday Tree now makes its way to the mall front of Malaysia’s premier shopping destination, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur in what promises to be a spectacle of light to welcome the festive season. Towering at est 23ft high of golden brass foliage tree with multi story facade of fairy lights, that took 1,270 hours of installation and 9,000 recyclable light bulbs to complete the reinterpretation of the ‘luminarie’, or traditional Italian lighting gantries used to celebrate festivities, that was the showstopper at Dior’s lavish DiorCruise 2021 show in Pugalia, Italy.

Dato’ Joyce Yap, CEO (Retail) of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur said, “We are delighted to present the Dior Holiday Tree here in Pavilion KL, a first for Southeast Asia, which also fits seamlessly with our ‘Golden Christmas Memories’ theme. Christmas and the year-end holidays are a special time of the year and this display will be the centrepiece of our efforts to bring the magic and festivities of the holiday season to life.”

Dior will launch an exclusive seasonal collection to celebrate this magical occasion.
