Kadenang Ginto was one of ABS-CBN’s longest-running teleseryes. It also gave birth to the love team of Kyle Echarri and Francine Diaz known as KyCine and; Seth Fedelin and Andrea Brillantes as SethDrea.
The four young talented teens formed The Gold Squad. Expectations were high as these love teams looked promising and they didn’t fail to deliver.
KyCine has become such a hit due to many reasons. One of the main factors that showed how compatible Kyle and Francine as a love team is that they agree with each other. In a segment of the noontime show, It’s Showtime, The duo had an appearance in the show’s game TagoKanta where they both guessed the correct answer in just one try.
And just like real-life couples, the two can be seen giving support to each other. Through their respective social media accounts, they congratulate each other on each milestone that they achieve.
They also give importance to their fans as they retweet, repost, and even acknowledge them. Throughout their interviews, their fan-base has always been mentioned, showing their gratitude towards their supporters. They were especially active in conducting Fan Meets so that they get in touch with their avid fans. These are just some of the reasons the pair is really perfect as a young love team.
And their unbelievable chemistry has paid off. During the LionhearTV RAWR Awards night, KyCine won the Love Team of the Year award. Even after being named this year’s love team, the duo didn’t forget to thank their fans. In a video acceptance speech, the two can be heard thanking their fan group Team KyCine for the love and support.
“Thank you LionhearTV RAWR awards,” Kyle started.
Followed by Francine as she said, “And syempre po sa lahat ng mga bumoto samin. Sa lahat ng nakasuporta, sa mga patuloy na nagmamahal sa KyCine, maraming maraming salamat po sa inyo.”
Kyle added, “Yes po, hindi po namin akalain na maging Love Team of the Year po kami kaya maraming maraming salamat. Thank you guys for all the support. Team KyCine, mga squadmates namin, lahat. Mahal na mahal po namin kayo and pagbutihan pa po namin lalo ang aming trabaho. Thank you guys!”
“Love you!”, Francine chimed before ending the video.
The members of the Gold Squad will be reunited as they star in a horror movie titled ‘All-Nighter!’ which has already started production. Kyle and Francine are also part of the mini-series ‘Bawal Lumabas‘ together with Kim Chiu. It will be released on December 14 and will be seen on iWant TFC.
Meanwhile, the squad’s newest project was unveiled by Dreamscape Entertainment and it is an inspirational series titled, ‘Huwag Kang Mangamba’.
