Actress-TV host Toni Gonzaga may have found the perfect business partner with one named Winnie Wong, owing to the popularity of the perfume and cologne brand Pouf! which is distributed by a company using the acronym TGWW.
Obviously, that stands for Toni G and Winnie W.
Both ladies have successfully endorsed the brand, with the latter going by the name Penelope Pop, a stage name that has now risen as a vlogger/influencer, serving as brand ambassador for the likes of Landers, Ayala Malls, Toblerone, Listerine, Dove, Laura Mercier, to name a few.
Rumor has it that Winnie Wong is the daughter of David Wong, a Chinese citizen holding an HK passport and who is the subject of an Interpol manhunt for fraud involving billions of pesos.
For that matter she is a Chinese citizen whose real name is Yun-I. She is apparently using a Taiwanese passport and only staying in the country on a special investor’s resident visa. She is purposely using an alias to become an influencer, blogger, and endorser.
The TGWW company is likewise said to be actually listed as a partnership between her boyfriend named Patrick Phillip Soriano and Toni. Yet the company address leads to Wong’s house in Forbes Park which is an arrangement that can’t be allowed by the Homeowners Association rules of the said village.
Netizen-friends observe that if you look at the social media accounts of Winnie Wong, who uses the online handle Penelope Pop or sometimes Penelope Wong, you would see an image of a person many young Filipino women aspire to become.
Just last weekend, news broke out about regulated products being sold in Lazada and Shopee from sellers who do not have a license to operate. A good number of products being sold there also have no FDA certification.
Allegedly, two companies that have no FDA licenses are The Everyday PH and TGWW Everyday Lifestyle Studio. The said FDA document also shows that Pouf! Everyday Colognes – best-selling products on Lazada and Shopee – do not have the required Certificate of Notification from the FDA.
A quick google search reveals that TGWW Everyday Lifestyle is the company which owns the website The Everyday PH.
With this information at hand, people are apparently being led to the idea that this rising social media figure who’s partly milking on the celebrity of her long-famous partner is far from being the Pinay girl-next-door worth emulating.
