‘Hello, Love, Goodbye‘ remains the highest grossing Filipino film to date after earning 880.6 million pesos.
The movie starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards was also shown abroad in the Middle East, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Taiwan. In Saudi Arabia, it was the first ever Filipino film to be screened in the theaters of Jeddah.
The movie was even recognized by The Golden Globe Awards for how it was beautifully written.

Recently, the blockbuster movie bagged three major awards at the National level of the 2020 Asian Academy Creative Awards (AAA). Best Direction – Fiction Cathy Garcia-Molina won Best Direction-Fiction, Carmi Raymundo, Cathy Garcia-Molina, and Rona Co for Best Screenplay, and Best Picture.
‘Hello, Love, Goodbye‘ is set for another achievement as it was nominated in the 2020 Luna Awards organized by the Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP).
The movie’s lead actress Kathryn Bernardo is a nominee for the best actress award. Its director, Cathy Garcia-Molina, is included is one of the candidates for the best director award; Norico Santos is nominated for Best Production Design; Noel Teehankee for Best Cinematography; Marya Ignacio for Best Editing and; Jessie Lazaten for Best Musical Scoring.
The movie’s screenwriter, Carmi Raymundo, is also nominated for Best Screenplay in the 18th edition of the Luna Awards.
The movie’s massive impact
The movie is such a hit because of its story where it tackles the everyday struggles of an OFW and how Filipinos put their family first before themselves. It also gives life lessons worth following, such as forgiving yourself when making a bad decision, asking for help from your friends, and learning that there are people who will enter your life who will change you.
It is such an interesting story that most Filipinos could relate to.
