Geneva Cruz shares a story from the Bible to disaffirm allegations that God prohibits homosexuality.
Recently, Jonathan Bennet of Mean Girls got engaged to his boyfriend Jaymes Vaughan.
Following the announcement, Geneva expressed her support for the couple.
Cruz reveals that she received both hate and like comments for supporting the couple, however, those things do not matter anymore.
She said that if ever her children were gay, she will support them all the way because true love knows no gender.
“Though alam ko straight sila, ganito rin ang pagmamahal ko sa mga kaibigan ko sa #LGBT community. At the end of the day… pare-pareho lang tayong mga tao.” she said.
“We are not sure whether it is a sin, but one thing’s for sure, Jesus loves all of us.”

Cruz then shared the story from the Bible about a woman who committed adultery. The woman must be stoned to death, but Jesus asked the one without any sin to throw stones first, but everyone left until it was him and the woman who’s left.
From that story, she asked whether we will stand with the sinner and Jesus or with the religious accusers.
“Maybe we were not the ones actually throwing those stones, but did we stand on the side of the accused and condemned and actively defend them like Jesus did?” she asked.
“Did we actively defend and love /the least of these’? Because Jesus says that the way we treat them is the way we treat Him,” she added.
Cruz then encouraged everyone to respect, love, and welcome the LGBTQ because that’s the time when we will feel Jesus’s presence.
