Antoinette Jadaone’s film about a fan meeting her idol ‘Fan Girl’ bagged the most awards at the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival’s Gabi ng Parangal on Sunday night (December 27).
The movie director Antoinette Jadaone together with its lead stars Charlie Dizon and Paulo Avelino won Best Director, Best Actress and Best Actor respectively. The movie also bagged the Best Picture award followed by ‘The Boy Foretold By The Stars’ (Second) and ‘Tagpuan’ (Third).
This year’s Gabi ng Parangal was done completely online.
Ten movies took part in the first ever virtual MMFF.
