PBB: Connect is the first of its kind even if it is currently on its 9th season and 15th overall season. But some fans may have not appreciated the format in casting the housemates for the show.
Internet sensation and famous vlogger Mimiyuuuh may have thrown a shade at the reality show in his most recent vlog. A part of his vlog, “My dog controls my life for a day” trended when he subtly made a parody of how PBB: Connect and its predecessors have been run.
According to him, only those who were good-looking, with no talent at all, tend to stay longer in the House wherein others who were lacking in that department may have to go the extra mile.
“Okay po kayo, happy po kayo Kuya? Bwiset yung iba nga walang ginagawa. Pogi lang at maganda, hindi pa manominate-nominate. ‘Di pa matanggal-tanggal sa bahay ni Kuya. Wala namang mga talent. Puro ganda, puro pogi lang mga kinukuha ni Kuya. ‘Tas kapag panget ka kailangan funny ka. Kailangan masipag ka, kailangan mabait ka,” Mimiyuuuh said.
He later added that with the divided and biased treatment the housemates are receiving, he said, “Woohh! The inequality up in here in this house, PBB!”

PBB: Connect is the 9th edition of the popular reality game show Pinoy Big Brother. This time, the show took its audition to the next level by doing the casting auditions via their partner app, Kumu, a video-sharing platform.
The housemates have to do daily and weekly tasks. By the end of the week, the contestants have to vote for two of their fellow contestants who are at risk of being eliminated. Once the two nominees are determined, viewers will have their chance on picking which one has to go and who has to stay.
It premiered last Sunday, December 6, where the contestants were finally revealed to the public. The show is hosted by Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzalez, and Robi Domingo. They are joined by Enchong Dee, Richard Juan, Edward Barber, Maymay Entrata, Kim Chiu, and Melai Cantivero as co-hosts which are assigned to fulfill hosting duties on different platforms where the show will be airing.
