Actress Claudine Barretto finally gave her statement regarding her Instagram post wherein she seemed to be attacking someone whom she said is ‘living a double life.”
On Sunday, December 13, 2020, the 41-year-old actress shared on her Instagram account a post which talks about a person faking his/her personality. She posted that “some people aren’t really all that they ‘post’ to be.”
“PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH,” she wrote in the captions.

The actress seemed to be referring to a specific person whom she believes is just trying to look good in public.
Her post drew attention from the netizens who wanted to know whom the actress is referring to. People speculated that the mystery person could be someone who is in the same industry. Some netizens said that Claudine was just speaking in general terms and is referring to the people in the community who fake their personality.
However, Claudine already answered the questions regarding her post when she replied to a netizen in the comment section.
The netizen expressed his shock towards Claudine’s post and asked who she was referring to and the actress simply answered that she is referring to ‘some people’ who live a double life trying to keep their self-image clean.
“Some people kasi use GOD,they live a double life. Yung nagmamalinis,” Claudine said.
Previously, Claudine also caught the attention of netizens after she shared a quote on IG about preferring to be an ‘honest sinner’ compared to being a ‘lying hypocrite.”
She seemed to be alluding to someone as she captioned the post as: “HYPOCRITES.”

Claudine is known to be not on good terms with her estranged husband Raymart Santiago. According to an article by PEP, the actress filed a Violence Against Women and their Children Act or Republic Act 9262 towards her husband in November 2020.
The article said that the complaint was filed after Raymart failed to follow the PHP100,000 worth of monthly child support that they had previously agreed on.
