Celebrity couple Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola are the subject of breakup rumors despite reports that they are getting married soon.
Recently, the actress posted a photo which showed her hand with a diamond ring that created a buzz online. This alleged ‘engagement ring’ was followed by a photo where Jessy could be seen fitting a wedding gown.
With this, fans speculated that Luis and Jessy will soon be tying the knot.
However, despite these wedding rumors, the couple also faced allegations that they broke up.
On Instagram, a netizen commented, “Break na sila”, on the photo of the couple posted by Jessy. But, Luis denied this statement and quipped, “Ok po, Nakalunok ka ba ng buto ng durian?”
With regards to the photo which was posted by Perez-Rubio Bridal, Jessy clarified that it was actually taken last 2019 and it was for her movie Stranded.
“Kaya po hindi ako masaya tingnan, kasi ayaw ko po magpakasal sa eksena. Nood na lang po kayo sa Netflix! Makikita niyo itong gown sa isa sa mga eksena,” she clarified.
Last July, Vivian Velez, who claims that she and Jessy’s mother Didith, are cousins, divulged Luis’s plan to marry Jessy, his girlfriend of four years.
“Last February, Luis Manzano expressed his desire to marry Jessy. You made the right choice Lucky,” Velez revealed.

Considering their almost 12-year gap, Luis revealed way back in 2017 that he is waiting for the time when Jessy will be ready to settle down.
