It seems Banat By has finally found his match.
Last December 9, the Diehard Duterte Supporter, vlogger Banat By, criticized Representative and Deputy Speaker Lito Atienza for stating that ABS-CBN might have its franchise again by 2021 under Speaker of the House of Representatives Lord Allan Velasco.
In his vlog, Banat By attacked Cong. Atienza and Speaker Velasco saying that the return of the network is scorn to the people of the Philippines and to the country’s laws. Furthermore, he added that it was evident that the Kapamilya network violated many laws. He even went on saying that the congressman is an ally of the Liberal Party, ranting and calling Cong. Atienza a ‘Dilawan’.
However, someone took a stand against the vlogger. A netizen named Marie Q. Dinglasan, popular amongst Filipino netizens as “Aling Marie” called out Banat By for his improper bluster.
Aling Marie or Nanay Marie as many netizens call her went viral for bravely calling out diehard Duterte Supporters.
In a 3-minute video that she posted online, she questioned the vlogger why he’s engrossed in the issue.
“Hoy bumanat ka na naman. Eh anong pakialam mo kung ibalik ni Mayor Lito Atienza yung ABS-CBN? Eh ano naman kung ibalik nila no? Ni Congressman Velasco? Eh karapat-dapat naman talagang ibalik ang ABS-CBN,” Nanay Marie said.
She then went on to attack the vlogger who is the manager of DDS and Fake News Queen Mocha Uson.
“Ikaw! Ngayon ka lang dito. Mula nung napaupo si Pres. Duterte, ngayon ka lang lumabas. Kasi nauso ang fake news maker. Kaya ngayon, nakaupo ka dyan at nagbubunganga bilang vlogger at sasabihan mo na yung mga nakaraang mayor ay walang nagawa,” she criticized.
Adding to that, she criticized the rant that Banat By made about Rep. Lito Atienza. She even emphasized that Rep. Atienza has done many things for Metro Manila that’s why he was the mayor of the city for so long. She attacked the remark of the vlogger that the return of ABS-CBN is making a fool out of the Filipino people.
Nanay Marie remarked, “Usbaw ka! Tatagal ba nang pagka-mayor si mayor Lito Atienza kung walang nagagawa yan sa Metro Manila? Kung makapagsalita ka akala mo ang galing-galing mo eh no? Anong pakialam mo? Takot na takot ka sa ABS-CBN? Kasi ang ABS-CBN ay nagbabalita ng katotohanan. At kailangan yan ng sambayanan. Sasabihin mo panloloko sa sambayanang Pilipino? Baliw! Kailangang-kailangan ng sambayanang Pilipino ang ABS-CBN.”
Then she told Banat By to not delve into the issue because he’s afraid that he’ll get busted for peddling wrong information.
“Kaya wala kang pakialam! Takot ka! Kasi mawawalan ka ng pagdadaldal ng mga kasinungalingan kapag ang ABS-CBN ay ibinalik na. Dyan ka takot. Kasi yang kasinungalingan mo ay mabibisto, minu-minuto mabibisto yang iyong mga pinagdadaldal, na ikaw ay fake news maker,” Nanay Marie stated.
In her own perspective, those supporters of Pres. Duterte hate ABS-CBN because they’re afraid of the network. They are scared that their false claims will be debunked by the Kapamilya network.
“Kaya ayaw na ayaw mo ng ABS-CBN. Kaya galit na galit kayo sa ABS-CBN, mawawalan kayo ng kita, mawawalan kayo ng trabaho. Kasi lalabas na ang tunay na pinaniniwalaan ng sambayanang Pilipino,” she said.

“Bakit ba takot na takot ka sa ABS-CBN?”
“Ikaw, ngayon ka lang dito! Mula nung mapaupo si Pres. Duterte, ngayon ka lang lumabas. Kasi nauso ang fake news maker!”

She also reminded him to slow down when judging somebody. Nanay Marie even ranted on how they were afraid of those who were in the right.
She added, “Dahan-dahan ka ng paghuhusga mo. Wala ka pa sa mundong vlogger, kilala na si mayor Lito Atienza. Galit na galit kayo sa mga nasa tama ano? Kasi yang mga kahayupan niyo, mga katarantaduhan niyo, eh unti-unti nang malulusaw. Lalo na yang kasinungalingan niyo, yang mga fake news niyo, unti-unti nang malulusaw yan.”
Before ending her video, she called them ‘patay-gutom’ since for her, their only source of income is spreading fake news.
Nanay Marie ended, “Kaya talaga lang, dapat lang ibalik ang ABS-CBN para matauhan kayo. At subukan uli na ipasara ang ABS-CBN. Babalik na naman kayo bilang mga fake news makers. Kaya ayaw niyo kasi mawawalan kayo ng kita. Magiging patay-gutom na naman kayo… no?”
