This series is the anticipated collaboration with Star Cinema and Brighlight Productions as announced by ABS-CBN Films managing director Olive Lamasan last October.
ABS-CBN’s chief operating officer for broadcast Cory Vidanes sealed this deal with Brighlight productions.
Rise Artists Studio is a newly-established talent management arm of ABS-CBN films.
Lamasan believes that this project will be a way to build Rise artists.
As ABS-CBN shuts down, most of its artists moved to TV5 under Brighlight productions which have a block time deal with the Kapatid network.
Brightlight Productions is assisted by the Star Magic co-founder Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan, no wonder why most Kapamilya artists were recruited easily.
Despite ABS-CBN’s return to free TV through A2Z, the business between ABS-CBN and Brighlight productions continues.
