Kapamilya actress Sylvia Sanchez supposedly turned down the projects offered to her coming from the TV5 and GMA Network.
According to an article by Jun Lalin of Pilipino Star Ngayon, the actress turned down the projects from the rival networks and decided to stay with ABS-CBN despite the network’s struggle with the threat of COVID-19 and being denied a fresh franchise.
The source of the columnist mentioned that Sylvia was offered a lead role from TV5 in a series called ‘Paano Ang Pasko.‘ The series was supposed to be the Kapatid network’s Christmas series that will be produced by Cignal Entertainment and line-produced by The IdeaFirst Company which is owned by the couple Perci Intalan and Jun Lana.
The schedule for the TV5 series was said to be already laid out for a 6-week taping but Sylvia turned down the project due to a conflict to her show with ABS-CBN.
The article also mentioned that the 49-year-old actress was offered a series in the Kapuso network along with Ruru Madrid. GMA had already negotiated with Sylvia’s manager regarding the offer where she was supposed to play the character of Ruru’s mother but she also turned down the offer.
It was revealed that Sylvia is set to be a part of a Kapamilya series under Dreamscape Entertainment that’s why she turned down all the said offers to her. She will be a part of the upcoming series called “Huwag Kang Mangamba” along with the ‘Gold Squad’ Andrea Brillantes, Seth Fedelin, Francine Diaz, and Kyle Echarri, as well as Eula Valdes, Mylene Dizon, Diether Ocampo, RK Bagatsing, Matet de Leon, and Angeline Quinto.
Dreamscape Entertainment previously posted the poster of the series on its official Instagram account saying, “Abangan sina Sylvia Sanchez, Eula Valdes, Mylene Dizon, Diether Ocampo, Enchong Dee, Paolo Gumabao Francine Diaz at Andrea Brillantes. Huwag Kang Mangamba. Soon. ❤️💚💙”
