Filipinos in Metro Manila and parts of Luzon can finally catch up with Cardo’s (Coco Martin) saga in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” after A2Z channel, which airs ABS-CBN shows and movies, is finally available on digital TV boxes such as ABS-CBN TVplus.
The news is an answered prayer for many Filipinos who’ve expressed frustration that they could not watch their other beloved shows on the channel, which used to only broadcast on analog.
According to A2Z’s Facebook page, A2Z is available on digital TV boxes in Metro Manila and some parts of Bulacan, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, and Pampanga. Channel assignment also varies per area so it is best to scan your digital TV box by simply pressing the “Scan” button on the remote control. Pick “YES” to begin the auto-scan, then click “OK” to search for A2Z.
If you’re curious to know why Ellice (Iza Calzado) and Marissa’s (Jodi Sta. Maria) confrontations always trend on social media, you can now watch “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin” on weeknights on A2Z. Other new Kapamilya teleseryes with fresh episodes include “Walang Hanggang Paalam” and “Bagong Umaga.”
Aside from getting to tune in to the live episodes of “It’s Showtime,” “ASAP Natin ‘To,” and “Magandang Buhay” with the whole family, netizens are also relieved that they won’t have to worry anymore about going over the limit with their mobile data now that they can just watch the shows using their digi box.
With cinemas closed right now, A2Z is also a huge boost for viewers who want to watch movies in the comfort of their homes without having to spend extra money, thanks to the week-long airing of local and international blockbuster films. Just this month, A2Z aired Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto’s 2020 movie “Block Z” and Carlo Aquino and Maine Mendoza’s “Isa Pa With Feelings.” Viewers were also treated to “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin,” “Maybe This Time” “Kimmy Dora,” and “The Forbidden Kingdom” this week.
Fans of Angelica Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino will also get to watch the “hugot” film “Exes Baggage” on A2Z this weekend. It will surely be another treat for viewers, just like how JaDine fans gushed about being able to watch “Diary ng Panget” immediately after A2Z made the announcement that it is already seen on digital boxes.
