ABS-CBN is indeed slowly rising from its franchise denial. Their block time agreement with the Zoe TV, now known as the A2Z channel, allowed the Kapamilya network to bounce back to free TV.
A month after this partnership, A2Z announced that they will continue to widen their reach as it debuts on ABS-CBN TV plus and other digital boxes.
Comedian and It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda expressed exhilaration by this good news from the A2Z.
“Nakakahappy!!!! Gamitin na ulit ang mga TV Plus!!!!!!”

The very wide reach of ABS-CBN was cut-off due to their franchise denial. Since then, they have turned to online platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Kapamilya Online Live for the broadcast of their news and other programs.
Even though Kapamilya Channel, the pay-TV of ABS-CBN, debuted on Cignal TV, their coverage was still not enough because not all can afford cable TV payments and A2Z only covers Mega Manila.
So, the return of the digital boxes, which approximately has 10 million users, will be a way for ABS-CBN to regain its viewers.
Despite its unfortunate fate, ABS-CBN continues to exert efforts to recover its losses and to be of service to the Filipino people.
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda was one of the witnesses of how destructive Typhoon Ulysses was. To recall, he was on vacation on Balesin Island with his boyfriend Ion Perez and friends, when Ulysses hit their area.
He initiated the FUNDkabogable donation drive to help the victims. And as of 11 am on November 19, 2020, it already received ₱1,233,820.87.
