A proud Shawol or fan of SHINee, Megastar Sharon Cuneta is well aware that her age is far from the usual age group of other SHINee fans.
But she called out to a few netizens who claimed she was too old to be a fan of Kpop. On Instagram, she showed off her collection of different SHINee memorabilia as she spoke about her love for the K-Pop group.
She then brought up the issue of other netizens who find her to be too old to be fangirling.
“Sometimes I get comments like ‘You’re too old to be a K-Pop fan’. No, that’s not true. I guess, for me, especially because I had my own show for so many years when I was in my twenties and thirties.”
For her, there’s no age limit on when fangirling should start or stop, especially on how she fell in love with the Korean Boyband, “There’s no age limit to what makes you happy, to loving what you love — and I happen to love SHINee, that Korean boyband and I did a lot of singing of all genres and a lot of dancing as well so I appreciate the dancing and singing and that just doesn’t end … it doesn’t stop.”
She then said to her fellow SHINee fans that if they ever need a mother especially to ran away from the problems that they have now she will be there, “I can be your Momma Shawol because I’ve been singing since I was 12, acting since I was 15, and I know when you want to hide and get away from everyone and I can hide you guys. No one will bother you if you want to take a break and rest. Anyway, I hope to meet you guys.”
Also, Sharon said that the KPOP group is so versatile especially in accepting fans despite differences in age, “But really SHINee is good no matter what age you are. If anybody who knows SHINee or if by some miracle someone or a member of SHINee sees this, I can be your momma over here in the Philippines.”
Megastar Sharon Cuneta has always been a big fan of K Pop and K Drama she even has a collection of K-Pop and K-Drama memorabilia that would surely make every Korean showbiz fan green with envy.
Last September, Cuneta showed her K-Pop and K-Drama souvenir items in one of the recent episodes of her YouTube Vlog on The Sharon Cuneta Network.
