At the press conference for the action series, Bella Bandida, lead actress Ryza Cenon admitted that she didn’t know she was pregnant while filming the fight scenes for the action-drama teleserye.
Firstly, she listed her preparations for the role of Bella Bandida, which included two weeks of training.
“Last year sya shinoot. Una nagtraining ako, siguro mga two weeks. Two weeks akong nag-train sa mga fight scenes,” said Ryza.
“Iba iba kasing month yung shooting namin kasi ginagawa ko din yung dalawang movie na under Viva. So nag-aano yung mga schedule. Hanggang sa natapos kaming magshoot ng Feb. Yun yung di ko alam na buntis na pala ko nagfifight scene pa ko,” said Ryza.
It was in June 2020 when Ryza revealed she was five months pregnant.
Bella Bandida, the new TV5 offering, highlights women empowerment through the superheroine envisioned by National Artist Francisco V. Conching. Ryza portrays the iconic role of Bella Bandida. It will also star AJ Muhlach and Josef Elizalde.
