In an exclusive interview with Myrtle Sarrosa, she shared what she learned throughout her eight years in showbiz.
Firstly she revealed that there were projects that didn’t end up with her but she has always accepted what happened.
“Sa 8 years ko in the industry ang dami ng mga dapat na show na akin ta’s biglang hindi natutuloy. Or nabigay sa ibang tao yung role or something like that. And I have always accepted it as part of fate, destiny, journey,” said Myrtle.
Then Myrtle said that her experience helped her learn about acceptance and changed her mindset about the projects she didn’t have the chance to work on.
“Kasi you can never expect what the universe will give you. But you always just have to accept na what comes for you, is yours. And if it’s not yours it’s meant for someone else. Kailangan mo din i-accept na it’s for them. And you have to wait for the opportunities na para sayo talaga,” said Myrtle.
Finally, she added that her 8 years in showbiz taught her about patience especially when waiting for the right project.
“Siguro me’ron ding dahilan itong universe kung bakit di pa sya natutuloy. You just have to patiently wait. Yun yung natutunan ko eh. You have to be patient with whatever comes na para sayo talaga,” said Myrtle.
Myrtle will have her virtual concert titled, MYRTLE: Still Love Me this November 28, 2020, wherein she will perform songs from her 2016 album, Now Playing. The concert will be from 8 pm to 11 pm and tickets are available via Ticket2Me.
