Thai actor Tay Tawan made the rounds on social media after his Instagram story dedicated to the Philippines amid typhoon Ulysses trended.
Netizens expressed their love forthe actor as they found his gesture thoughtful.
The Philippines was left devastated after typhoon Ulysses, the 21st cyclone to hit the country, brought strong winds and rain that flooded the homes of people. Low-lying areas in Metro Manila, Rizal, Bicol, and other parts of the country were the most affected which forced citizens to evacuate their homes amid the pandemic.
Tawan sent his love to all Filipinos through his IG story where he posted a message of solidarity saying, “Manatiling malakas na Pilipinas.”
The actor is known for his many BL (Boy’s Love) series such as Kiss: The Series, Kiss Me Again, Our Skyy, Dark Blue Kiss, and I’m Tee, Me Too.
Netizens were quick to notice that the Thai actor used ‘Google Translate’ to convey his message for the Philippines. People said that the actor’s message was the direct Google Translate English-Filipino result for “Stay Strong Philippines.”
