Cheryl Alonzo Tyndall, the mother of Sarah and Pia Wurtzbach, has decided to open up and explain her side of the story regarding the feud between her and Sarah.
Previously, Sarah expressed her anger towards her sister—former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach—and her mother.
In a series of her Instagram posts, she revealed that Pia and their mother have nasty personalities.
“Ang baho ng ugali mo. Dami mong kuda pero sorry wala,” she wrote on October 11.
“Tapos mangdadamay ng ibang tao na wala naman sa usapan. Magsama kayo ni mama, @piawurtzbach,” she added.
Sarah also said that Pia wouldn’t support her and that she still needed to humble despite the one being abused.
“Nag-iisa mong kapatid ayaw mong suportahan tapos mangdadamay ka palagi ng ibang tao na wala naman sa usapan,” she said.
“Kung alam lang ng ibang tao kung gaano kabaho ugali n’yo ni mama, ‘di porket nananahimik ako, ako ‘yung masama.”
“Ako pa kailangan lagi magpakumbaba, eh ako na nga ‘yung naabuso. T****na n’yo, @piawurtzbach,” she added.
On October 31, Cheryl uploaded a 20-minute video on her YouTube channel along with her second husband, Nigel Tyndall. She said that the video is her answer regarding the feud with her younger daughter Sarah as she captioned the post, “SAGOT NAMIN SA MGA AKUSASYON!!!”
Nigel started their explanation by saying that he and Cheryl had sleepless nights because of the whole controversy. He said that he was mad at Sarah for lashing out at her sister and especially her mother.
He said that they only recently knew about Sarah’s outburst because they were blocked from her social media accounts.
“It took a lot of time to think back over the years of all the wrongs and bad things that were done to us, and Cheryl, after we helped her,” he said.
Cheryl recalled the time when she was a single mom in Pasig City, taking care of her two daughters. She said that it was hard for her because Sarah would often make her worry as she would always come home late at night.
“As a single mom, napakahirap alagaan ng dalawang batang babae na mestiza. Talagang binabantayan ko po ang mga anak ko,” she said.
“Dahil sa mga barkada sa labas, naaya si Sarah na lumabas-labas at makipaglaro,” she added.
She explained that she and Pia even had to find Sarah around their neighborhood and would call for her name.
“Nandoon na iyong puntong hahanapin namin siya, kaming dalawa ni Pia, maghahanap sa mga bahay-bahay at tatawagin namin ang pangalan niya,” she said.
Regarding the accusations that Sarah said towards her mother, Cheryl said that those were not true as she said that she is not that kind of a mother.
“Gagawin ko ba naman ‘yan sa mga anak ko? Hindi po, hindi po ako ganyang tao. Hindi po ako ganyang ina.”
“Huwag niyo po akong husgahan kasi talaga pong inalagaan ko iyong aking mga anak,” she said.
She also shared that she even had a meeting with her previous subdivision in Pasig to confront Sarah regarding the rumors of her doing drugs with her friends.
Cheryl talked about the issue she had with Sarah back when they moved to the U.K. She revealed she received a letter from Sarah’s school principal informing her that Sarah was going around in her school saying that she was abused as a child.
“Sabi po ng principal, ‘Sarah has a problem, she’s talking to her other classmates and to some mother about what happened to her in the Philippines,’” she said.
She said that she was shocked by the news saying that she didn’t know anything about it.
“I said, ‘What?’ I was really, really shocked,” she stated.
“I don’t know anything about it. We are already here in the U.K. for 3 years, and she never told me anything about it,” she added.
She learned that the ‘abuse’ was done back in the Philippines and said that it was hard for her as a mother to not be able to protect her own daughter.
“Nagsabi ako ng mga pangalan na na-encounter namin sa buhay namin doon. Hindi raw, hindi raw, hindi raw,” Cheryl said.
“Sabi ko, ‘Sino? Bakit ngayon mo lang sinasabi sa akin? Nandito tayo sa U.K., paano kita mapapagtanggol? Ano’ng gagawin natin ngayon?’

“Alam niyo, ang sakit-sakit sa akin noon,” she added.
She said that they just chose to move on since they already live in the U.K. She mentioned that she and her second husband has been supportive of Sarah in the things that she wanted to do.
They supported her decision to work after high school, and even the relationships that she had before.
“She had different relationships that we support. We supported her relationship because she’s still exploring,” she said.
Cheryl believes that what Sarah is going through is just postpartum depression after giving birth to her second child last October 2018.
“I love my daughters. I don’t believe that she (Sarah) hates me so much. I know she loves me. I still believe that,” she said.
“I always think maybe it’s postpartum. I want to believe that it’s just postpartum, harder than normal or worse than normal,” she added.
She also said that she loves her daughters and that people shouldn’t judge too quickly.
“Iyon lang po ang masasabi namin sa ngayon. Marami pong taong mapamantala. Biktima rin po ako,” she said.
“Kaya ayun lang po. Mahal ko ang mga anak ko,” she added.
