Kapuso star Marian Rivera recently held a media conference for the 3rd anniversary of her show, Tadhana.
She was asked about her recent Instagram post about her and husband Dingdong Dantes in San Benito.
“Oo! Actually si Dong lang. Suprise nya yun. Sabi nya kasi, came from work.
When asked how she films her show Tadhana, Marian answered that she couldn’t do it without Dingdong.
In the interview, she said that her husband is the one who directs her and is very meticulous when it comes to shooting the show. Later on, she clarified that her husband just wants everything to be perfect since they are only filming in their home.
Si Dong hindi, pag mali ka, from the top, ganun sya,” said Marian.
She added as well that shooting inside the comfort of her house is comfortable yet difficult since they have to do everything themselves.
Because of the title of her show, Tadhana, Marian is also asked if she believes in fate. After saying she does, she even related her personal experience with now-husband Dingdong Dantes saying that she did not expect that she’ll be marrying him. She further explained that no matter what happens, once someone is destined to be with each other, it will find a way.
“Well, tinadhana naniniwala ako kasi at first kasi, nagtatrabaho kami ni Dingdong. Parehas kaming may sari-sariling love life eh. So yes, definitely naniniwala po ako sa tadhana at itinadhana,” she said.
Marian also mentioned that she and her husband never had a fight since the start of the pandemic. Additionally, the Kapuso actress realized that she and her husband Dingdong are really compatible with each other stating that their relationship became more transparent and even more vocal.
“…narealize ko na compatible kami sa isa’t-isa kasi hindi nag-away… so mas yung love namin sa isa’t-isa mas naging transparent pa kami, mas naging vocal pa kami sa isa’t-isa… yung relationship namin mas naging give and take,” said Marian.
Asked for her advice for those who want their relationship to work, she said that there are 5 things to consider. First is that it is best to be honest with each other; second is make time to have a heart-to-heart talk; third is never let the flame be extinguished; fourth, learn to have a mutual relationship and; fifth, pray.
