Nadine Lustre and James Reid (JaDine) remain Kapamilyas as they were seen wearing the official “Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya” shirts for ABS-CBN’s upcoming Christmas station ID.
The Kapamilya network’s Christmas station ID is an annual event that started back in 2002. The network releases memorable songs and tunes along with the participation of many celebrities in local showbiz. Some of the notable pieces from the network include “Star ng Pasko (2009),” “Just Love (2017),” and “Family is Love (2018)” among others.
On Wednesday, November 18, ABS-CBN’s creative manager Kathrina Sanchez shared the photos of JaDine wearing the Kapamilya shirt in which she captioned, “TULOY ANG PASKO.”

The Twitter post drew excitement from the netizens, especially the JaDine fans who expressed their love for the two.
Earlier this month, ABS-CBN unveiled the teaser for the upcoming “Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya” Christmas station ID earlier this month.
JaDine’s participation in the upcoming station ID will mark their sixth-year inclusion to the annual event.
The love team came into prominence after they were paired up in the film adaptation of the popular Wattpad novel “Diary ng Panget” (2014). The two then starred in several other films such as “Talk Back and You’re Dead” (2014), “Para sa Hopeless Romantic” (2015), “This Time” (2016), and “Never Not Love You” (2018).
The former couple has also starred in drama series like “On the Wings of Love” (2015-2016) and Till I Met You (2016-2017).
James previously appeared in ABS-CBN’s Search for the Idol Philippines as a judge in 2019. Meanwhile, Nadine took part in the show Your Moment, also as a judge, in 2019.
James was supposed to star in series with MOMOLAND’s Nancy McDonie called The Soulmate Project. However, there is still no update about the series as of this writing.
On the other hand, Nadine’s action drama with Julia Montes called Burado fell through due to the challenges brought by the COVID-19. The project was supposed to film its action-packed scenes in international locations which were revealed to be difficult to mount at this time.
Nadine recently released her visual album called Wildest Dreams which premiered simultaneously on the YouTube channel of the Kapamilya network, ABS-CBN Entertainment as well as on Careless (James’ record label).
The album premiered on October 31 and consists of 6 music videos that come together as one short film. One of the videos of the album called “Ivory” featured a cameo by James.
