Award-winning singer-songwriter Moira Dela Torre shared the song that came about when she and husband Jason Marvin Hernandez had a quarrel.
Firstly, Moira said that Jason usually looks back on their relationship whenever they get into a fight with each other, so much so that his anger turns to gratitude that they ended up together.
“Kasi po si Jason pag nag-away kami naiisip nya agad yung pano pag di tayo nagkatuluyan edi. Pano pag di ako nag end up with Moi. So parang narereverse nya yung galit nya from galit to gratitude na kaming dalawa ang nagkatuluyan,” said Moira.
Moira also added that Jason wrote the song “Kabanata” when they had a lover’s quarrel before.
She also adds that songwriting helps the couple reconcile their differences whenever they get into fights.
“So meron po syang nasulat nung nag-away kami. Kabanata. Madami naman po pero mostly nagiging source namin na mag-bati yung pag nagsusulat kami ng kanta together,” Moira added.
Moira recently made history after receiving a total of 11 platinum awards for her album single. She is the only Original Pinoy Music artist to receive a total of 11 platinum awards.
Moira and Jason are both musicians with Jason cowriting in some of Moira’s songs such as the hit single Ikaw at Ako. The couple tied the knot back in January 2019.
