In an exclusive interview, My Lockdown Romance actor Joao Constancia recalled the effects of ABS-CBN’s shutdown.
Firstly, he highlighted how sad he was with the news of ABS-CBN’s shutdown, moreover, he became worried about his career.
“Obviously, in the beginning, we were sad to hear that ABS-CBN shutdown, and obviously we were worried about our careers,” said Joao.
Then, when ABS-CBN returned, he noted that projects started pouring in from the Kapamilya network.
“We got projects coming after the shutdown, and also despite the pandemic right now. We had projects coming in. And tuloy tuloy pa rin yung mga projects namin,” said Joao.
Finally, he said that he was happy and grateful that they still had projects despite the lockdowns and ABS-CBN’s shutdown.
“We were super grateful talaga, na meron pa rin kaming mga trabaho, after the lockdown and the shutdown [ABS-CBN]. We are happy lang and grateful that we still have jobs,” said Joao.
Joao became active on social media during the lockdown and ABS-CBN’s shutdown, especially with Tiktok. He also revealed that learned to cook on his own during the pandemic. Additionally, he also reconnected with his family in Macau during the lockdowns.
