With the recent onslaught of recent typhoons Ulysses and Rolly in the Philippines, celebrities such as Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla have started initiatives in extending help to impacted communities.
Because of this, a trend of fan clubs initiating donation drives on their own popped up all over social media. Here are some of them:
KathNiels Share The Love reported that the #KathNielsShareTheLove donation drive garnered over Php 300,000 donations that can help 700 families impacted by the typhoons.
As of Nov. 23, we already received a grand total of 301,818.97. Through your donation, we have been able to accomplish helping 700 families & still continues to work towards the other provinces that were hit by the typhoons. Tatak LizQuen Official tweeted a photo of their fans club’s relief efforts in Cagayan Valley. Notably, it was the fourth community that they have extended their help to, with others such as Rodriguez and San Mateo Rizal.

Other LizQuen fan clubs also started their donation drives with the intent of helping out communities in Cagayan.

MayWard fan clubs reported that their ‘MayWard BeABlessingProject’ in partnership with ELMTreePh raised over Php 300,000 with the first batch of their distribution in Baliuag, Bulacan. They are still currently accepting donations.
As of yesterday, Nov 16, 10 PM, our MAYWARD BeABlessingProject was able to raise a total of P306,925.21 ❤
