In a media interview with the host of GMA News TV’s new youth-oriented program, In Real Life (IRL), Gabbi Garcia showed the reason she is the perfect role model for millennials. The show, which is kind of off-beat, allows the Kapuso actress to talk about social issues, lifestyle, and many more.
According to the executive producer of the show, Gabbi is the ‘Ultimate ‘IT’ Girl of GMA’ and that she’s the perfect choice to become the host of the youth-oriented TV show.
“Perfect choice si Gabbi because the show will not only tackle about the newest trends, the fashion, the travel, etc., but also, we will talk about the youth’s role on the betterment of society. At walang ibang magre-represent non kundi si Gabbi because she’s about being real. She has her principles. She’s so grounded. So, she’s very articulate. She has a good following. She’s very talented, so all in one package,” the executive producer said.
The show’s producer also added that Gabbi, who is very vocal about issues concerning Gen Z adding. “…she’s the best or one of the best representatives of the youth. She speaks her mind, tapos, she has a lot to say about relevant issues concerning the youth.”
The actress-turned-host considers the show to be a safe space for the youth to talk about issues concerning Gen Z. It also aims to inform people that there are certain issues worth talking about.
GMA even gave her the freedom to speak her mind when it comes to issues concerning the program.
“…ang maganda sa GMA News kasi sasabihin lang nila, ‘sige Gabbi ikaw na bahala ka kung ano gusto mo sabihin,'” said the host.
Gabbi even volunteered to share her insights so that there’s a personal touch for the show. Aside from volunteering for her ideas, she considers herself responsible for the entirety of the program.
In Real Life (IRL) is a youth-oriented reality show where young people can hang out and share their thoughts as they keep their voices heard on various topics that matter to them, real and unfiltered. They will be talking about relationships, music, sports, fashion, travel, food, and even issues inside and outside the digital world.
