In the interview for their Prima Donnas fresh episode return, director Gina Alajar related the pandemic to events in the Bible. She also believed that even worse plagues are about to come.
Firstly, Alajar noted that she fears for her grandchildren.
Then she felt thankful that her grandchildren had been born this time, noting that they would have time to grow up before Biblical events happen.
“So, buti nga ngayon sila pinanganak, how many years from now, lalaki na sila, kaya na nilang tumakbo, kaya na nilang magtago kung saan man. I’m talking about the things that are going to happen during the Revelation time,” said Alajar.
She also cited details related to the Bible and connected it to the pandemic.
“Kung ano yung mga mangyayari dun, the plagues. Di lang ito ang plagues na mangyayari sa atin. Marami pa if we read the revelations. Sinasabi nga dun sa Bibliya, it would be difficult for pregnant women. And women with babies pag dumating na yung panahong ‘yon. And, alam natin na nararamdaman nating unti-unti nang dumarating ang panahong ‘yon,” said Alajar.
Alajar then added that the safety of her grandchildren gives her comfort especially when a worse plague or pandemic arrives.
“So the babies are safe, at alam ko namang hindi tayo pababayaan ng diyos. Pag dumating ang pagkakataon na may darating pang na mas mahirap or mas nakakatakot na plague. God’s people will be safe. God’s people will be saved,” said Alajar.
Prima Donnas returns this November 9 after six months of hiatus due to COVID-19. It airs its fresh new episodes weekdays at 3:25 PM, on GMA Network.
