On Instagram, Julia Barretto shared a photo that showed her smelling flowers at a resort with a cottage in the background.
She wrote in the caption, “My flowers growing beautifully.”
The photo became viral after a fan page on Facebook noticed its similarity to Gerald Anderson’s photo in his Instagram Story. Gerald promoted his resort in Zambales named Hayati private resort with a photo showing a similar cottage seen in Julia’s post.

The alleged screenshot of the actor’s Instagram Story described the private resort as “perfect for families and big groups.”
Meanwhile, another photo also showed Julia’s mother, Marjorie Barretto, enjoying her vacation at a seaside resort which was presumably the Hayati resort.
Netizens were able to make a connection from these photos and speculated that Julia and her family had a vacation at Gerald’s resort.
Earlier, netizens also speculated that Julia spent her time during quarantine at the same resort with Gerald.
The rumor came up after the two were supposedly spotted together in an Instagram photo uploaded by Gerald’s assistant.
The photo showed a silhouette of two people at a resort: a long-haired girl and a man on the other side.
It was in September 2020 when Gerald announced the opening of his private resort on social media.
Following this, Julia showed her support for its opening by posting a logo of Hayati Private Resort on her Instagram story.
In 2019, rumors between the two started due to Gerald’s ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo’s social media post. Bea hinted that their breakup had the involvement of a third party. Also, rumors between Gerald and Julia persisted because of social media posts pointing out their alleged “sweetness.”
