Pinoy Big Brother Connect recently made a buzz online after they announced the opening of their auditions.
Many netizens expressed interest in it, and some also wished for some influencers to join in the said PBB edition.
Bretman Rock, a Fil-Am beauty influencer, is one of the social media personalities who is being spurred on by his followers to join.
A netizen commented on his Instagram post, “You should audition for PBB, everyone will love you.”
However, in reply, Bretman seems piqued recalling how Philippine showbiz treated him when he went home last March 2016.
“Girl don’t even get me started on how Philippine showbiz treated me when I went home.”
With this, netizens speculated that Bretman had a bad experience during his vacation in the Philippines.
Another netizen alleged that it was because of his guesting on the ABS-CBN noontime show, It’s Showtime. Bretman liked the comment so netizens assumed that he was indeed not treated nicely in the said show.
To recall, he guested on the show’s Trabahula segment where he was tasked to guess who was the real gym instructor among the contestants.
The video clip of his guesting circulated online, however, netizen cannot spot why or in what way was he not treated nicely. Maybe the jokes of Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Billy Crawford, and Joey Marquez, who were the hosts that time, did not sit well with Bretman.
But to note, Bretman did not only guested on It’s Showtime, but he also made appearances in other shows like ASAP.
Moreover, other netizens speculate that he felt bad because of the things that happened behind-the-scenes.
Bretman recently signed a contract with Universal Talent Agency. He was nominated by E! People’s Choice Award as the Beauty Influencer of the year.
Meanwhile, PBB Connect announced 5 aspiring housemates who passed the first part of the auditions.
