Actress Chynna Ortaleza explained the importance of looking for the President during a crisis like typhoon Rolly.
On her Twitter account, Chynna wrote that she doesn’t expect anyone from the government to halt the storm physically.
Chynna then added that she looked for President Rodrigo Duterte when the typhoon hit because she needed to hear clear directives coming from the country’s head of state. She also noted that even if he wasn’t physically present during the briefing, a phone patch would have been enough.
“No I am not expecting anyone from government to try to stop the storm physically. I was looking for the President yesterday because I needed to hear clear directives coming from him. Kahit wala siya sa briefing- a statement.. a phone patch.. that would have been enough,” wrote Chynna via Twitter.

Her explanation was a result of her previous tweets during the typhoon Rolly wherein she was looking for President Duterte. Chynna also chided the President about using Sunday as an excuse to not show up.
Where is the President?
