If not for the COVID-19 pandemic, celebrity and women’s rights advocate Angel Locsin revealed that she would have been married on Sunday, November 8.
On the Instagram account of Angel Locsin, the actress posted a photo of herself and fiancé Neil Arce kissing her forehead with the caption, “So, we were supposed to get married today 😁 Nov 8, 2020 💍 how about you guys? Did you have plans this year that got moved?”
But along with her short caption, the actress managed to make a cryptic phrase saying that she, “Can’t wait a few more months” what could it be?
A few months ago, Angel strongly denied rumors and called out people who have been spreading rumors that she and fiancé Neil Arce had called it quits.
The Darna star posted a screenshot on Instagram Stories of YouTube videos announcing that she and Arce had broken up .
She and Neil had already explained why their much-anticipated wedding will not be pushing through this November.
Because of the current pandemic, Arce said he and Locsin had agreed to move it sometime “next year.”
“It’s going to be moved to early next year, But, of course, it depends on the situation with the pandemic.”
They are mulling the possibility of making it a little bit more intimate than usual to adhere to health protocols but Arce is not keen on it, maintaining, “that’s not us.”
“We have a group of friends. We want everyone to be there. We want everyone to have fun. And you know, Angel didn’t attend their prom. She didn’t have a debut. So this is the only big party she’s going to have.”
Locsin also said she would concentrate on getting healthy and on their wedding plans after news of their engagement broke in June.
As of now, the couple are currently working together on the ‘Iba’ Yan‘ public service initiative, hosted by Angel and directed by Neil. The series features inspirational Filipinos who assist those in need.
