At the press conference for the new Kapamilya Teleserye, Bagong Umaga, actor Tony Labrusca shared his struggles during the locked-in filming of the series.
He noted how difficult it was at first. He also said that he was emotional because he misses his family and comfort zone.
“Yes at first medyo mahirap talaga, medyo emotional ka lagi, kasi namimiss mo yung comfort zone mo. Yung family mo. Di ba usually, pag taping, every other day nakakauwi ka kahit papaano. So dito wala,” said Tony.
He then added that he thought that the cast would have pet peeves during the filming of the series but he was happy to know that they were all easy to get along with.
“Pero swerte naman kami lahat dito. Kasi lahat po sila mabait actually yun din po yung fear ko. Magsisilabasan na po ng ugali yung mga kasama ko dito pagdating ng third week. Pero ito, last two taping days na kami for the first lock in and I’m really happy to say na mabait po lahat ng kasama ko dito lahat ng cast mates,” said Tony.
He also added that he is looking forward to his next project which also is a ‘locked-in’ filming.
“So ayun in terms of doing another project na lock in, meron po akong lock in for Hello Stranger ayun looking forward to that,” said Tony.
Tony top bills Bagong Umaga alongside Barbie Imperial, Michelle Vito, Heaven Peralejo, Kiko Estrada, and Yves Flores. Bagong Umaga airs this October 26 on A2Z Channel 11, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live. It marks the first Kapamilya Teleserye to premiere its pilot episode on A2Z channel 11.
