With serious allegations of marital rape and child abuse from his live-in partner, comedian Super Tekla has finally broken his silence.
“Binabato mo ako ng isyu na pinipilit kita sa ganyang bagay… usapin natin Michelle ‘yan, usapin ng pamilya ‘yan. Isang napakasensitibong usapin ‘yan Michelle,” Tekla said. “Sana man lang nag-isip ka. Pinag-isipan mo kung ano ang maapektuhan.”
In an interview with GMA News, emotional Super Tekla denied accusations of sexual abuse, “Hindi totoo ’yan, ako nasa tamang katinuan pa naman ako, hindi ko magagawa ’yan Michelle. Utang na loob may anak akong babae Michelle, si Aira, may mga kapatid akong babae … Mahirap lang kami Michelle, sa bukid. Alam mo ang background ng family ko.”
Tekla added, “Parte ng pagsasama natin ’yan Michelle, na ipinagkakait mo sa akin. Ginagawa mo akong tanga at timawa d’yan, ’yun ang totoo, pero nag-a-adjust ako kasi nanay ka ng anak ko eh.”
He also denied that he’s back into using illegal drugs and he’s willing to undergo tests to prove it.
Because of the seriousness of these allegations, netizens blasted the comedian on Twitter, condemning his alleged actions against his live-in partner Michelle Lhor Bana-ag.
One Twitter user reposted the video used by Bana-ag as evidence against Tekla noting that the comedian is sexually blackmailing his partner.
“tw // sexual abuse, rape notice how tekla says ‘dapat lang’ after his partner rants about him not giving them money for food simply because she refuses to have s*x with him??? talk about sexual blackmailing. she does not owe you anything!!!,” said Zandra on Twitter.

“rot in hell super tekla grabe! you deserve that,” said Kaths via Twitter.
While Twitter user Vince noted the allegations against the comedian, he also added how Tekla dangerously portrays himself as queer when he is straight.
“aside from Tekla sexually abusing his wife and her child, he dangerously portrays himself as queer in his comedy stints. talk about a straight man taking advantage of queerness for ridicule and personal gain. MEN ARE TRASH!!!” said Vince via Twitter.

Twitter user lili also reacted by citing how important consent is in a relationship. She also noted how this will impact Tekla’s career.
“being in a relationship w/someone doesn’t mean you have the rights to ask your partner to have sex with u anytime you want. if she refused to do it bcs she’s not feeling well or she just don’t want to do it w/o any reasons, it means no. tekla, be ready for your downfall :),” said lili via Twitter.
