Star Magic talents Michelle Vito and Paulo Angeles have opted to stay with ABS-CBN.
At the virtual media conference with the stars for the teleserye Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin, they were asked if they received project offers or contracts from other networks. Michelle admitted that there were offers.
“Meron po, pero hindi pa puwede because may show. Pero for me kasi hindi lang naman ‘yun ang reason because parang fresh pa ‘yung nangyari sa ABS-CBN and ang tagal ko with ABS.
“So, I respect ‘yung mga bosses, I respect kung ano ‘yung nangyari sa situation, I respect ABS-CBN, so, ayokong madaliin po ‘yung decision ko or kung may opportunity sa iba ayoko muna po na tanggapin muna ‘coz ang dami pang nangyayari and pinag-uusapan pa and all so ayoko po munang makisabay and since nag-school din po ako ngayon so ayoko munang i-rush talaga.”
“Kailangan munang okay lahat at makapag-move on lahat kasi ang dami pang artist, bosses, and workers ng ABS-CBN na ang sakit pa sa kanila nu’ng nangyari so, I respect that po.”
On the other hand, Paulo Angeles first joked there were no offers, but ultimately the actor acknowledged that there were.
“Secret, Ha-hahaha! Siyempre meron din po.
“Hindi ko tinanggap kasi may show pa ako dito. Siyempre priority din naman talaga muna, may Star Magic pa naman, so hindi kailangang lumipat.”
As of now, Paulo and Michelle are focusing on their roles as a love team in Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin which also stars Iza Calzado, Jodi Sta. Maria, Sam Milby, and Maricel Soriano from JRB Creatives.
