With the long-awaited return of ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Big Brother, a lot of Filipino hopefuls are excited to audition for the famed reality TV show.
Among these hopefuls were netizens against the ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal and known Die-hard Duterte Supporters (DDS).
Netizens chided those excited for PBB’s return despite their stand against ABS-CBN.
One netizen noted how ironic it was for those against ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal to audition for the famed reality TV show.

Another netizen pointed out the logic behind joining a TV show from the network that they were out to destroy before.

One netizen pointed out that the PBB officials should screen those auditionees known to have posted in favor of ABS-CBN’s shutdown.

A netizen revealed how one of his DDS friends asked him how to audition for PBB.

One netizen pointed out that those known DDS should decide whether to stick with their stand against ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal or to abandon it to audition for PBB.

Before the pandemic hit, thousands of auditionees would line up outside of the most famous house in the country.
The newest season of PBB will be called PBB Connect as the reality TV program will be shown via the Kumu app. Aspiring housemates can audition by downloading the Kumu app.
Then, they will need to post a one-minute video about themselves on their timeline with their name, age, location, with the hashtag #PBBkumuaudition. Once they pass, they will receive a message via the Kumu app from the official PBB Kumu account, @pbbabscbn. Auditions start this October 19, 2020.
