A hilarious revelation was made known about newly wedded couple Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli when a particular post on Twitter caused actor-singer Matteo to receive the title “Under De Sarah.”
This began when Love de Ocampo, who works in advertising, shared a Twitter post about her first-hand experience on how ‘under’ Matteo is to Sarah, “Shoot recap: Someone brings out his inner superhero. He went out of the studio faster than The Flash! #whenthewifecalled #umuwikanabubu”
This tweet got funny reactions on how cute that Matteo follows Sarah which just shows how the two are very much in love despite the issues that they have faced.
Also another proof that shows Sarah is the one in the driver’s seat of their marriage is when she recently revealed that after how many years of being dependent on her mom, she is now handling not just her own finances but hers and Matteo’s.
“To be honest na-expedite ‘yung adulting. Ngayon ko lang na-experience how to handle my own finances, how to budget, how to invest.
“I keep reminding myself now na hindi na ako single. I have to accept na hindi na ako single. So ngayon natutunan ko na lahat, with the help of my husband.”
It was in 2014 that Sarah reportedly first admitted that she was in a relationship with Matteo, an actor and a triathlete. This was during a short interview aired on Aquino and Abunda Tonight.
“Sige sasabihin ko na po, boyfriend ko si Matteo.”
In January 2016, Matteo spoke about getting the permission of Sarah’s parents. Kris Aquino addressed this during his guest appearance on Kris TV and stated how Sarah’s parents originally did not embrace Matteo for their daughter, but Sarah stood her ground and defended him.
The couple announced their engagement through Instagram photos in November 2019, showing Sarah with her engagement ring.
And last February 2020, the two secretly tied the knot which even caused a big scandal because Matteo reportedly hit by one of the bodyguards who leaked the wedding details to Sarah’s Mommy Divine, who did not approve of their marriage.
