Korina Sanchez described what she is like as a wife to her husband Mar Roxas, a politician and former Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary.
The two confirmed their relationship when they attended as each other’s date at the first-ever Star Magic Ball. In 2009, they announced their engagement online.
Korina then married Mar in October 2009 in a grand ceremony at the Sto. Domingo Church in Quezon City.
They welcomed a pair of twins, Pepe and Pilar, in February 2019 who were conceived through in vitro fertilization via a surrogate mother in the United States.

Korina is 55 years old while her husband is now 63 years old.
The veteran host opened up about her married life in an interview with Vice Ganda as she answered intriguing questions.
Korina admitted that she dated a few men before she met Mar and recently revealed that she actually had a romantic relationship with Fernando Carrillo, a Venezuelan actor and model.
When it comes to relationships, Korina admitted that she’s a geisha and the submissive type. She may have been known for having a strong personality on screen, but she is the opposite as a romantic partner.
The female broadcaster shared, “Sample, kunwari magmamaneho siya [Mar] pupunta kami ng norte. Sasabihin niya, ‘Nasaan na tayo?’ Sabi ko, ‘Hindi ko alam, basta trust kita kung nasaan tayo.’”

Accordingly, Mar didn’t like that kind of her attitude of being meekly obedient. In the interview, Korina further narrated that when it comes to having their “loving loving moments”, one look and she knows what he wants.
