A Soldier’s Heart tandem Jerome Ponce and Yves Flores exchanged kilig-inducing tweets which sent netizens into full shipping mode.
It all started when one netizen tweeted that Yves misses Jerome, to which Jerome expressed his disbelief.

Then, Yves replied to the tweet saying that Jerome doesn’t love him with the pleading face emoji.

After that, Jerome responded to Yves’ tweet with a simple yet assuring reply.

In A Soldier’s Heart, Yves portrayed 2nd Lt. Benjamin Arguelles, who fell in love with Pvt. Philip Panganiban, portrayed by Jerome. Despite the military setting, the two developed an attraction over the course of the series which became canon in the teleserye finale.
With the teleserye over, Jerome now stars in the new Boys Love series from Regal Entertainment BenXJim with actor Teejay Marquez. On the other hand, Yves will star in the new Kapamilya teleserye, Bagong Umaga with Barbie Imperial as his new love team partner.
Even though not in a BL series, the chemistry between the actors was so effective that it shined through the action sequences of the teleserye. Then, in the press conference of A Soldier’s Heart’s finale week, both actors expressed that they are willing to work on a BL project together, to the delight of PhilJie/JerVes fans.
Fun fact, Yves and Jerome are reportedly single with Jerome coming from a recent breakup.
